Archdiocesan Curia and Commissions

The Code of Canon Law empowers the Local Ordinary to create institutions which would assist him in governing the whole diocese, especially in guiding pastoral action, in caring for the administration of the diocese, and in exercising judicial power (Can. 469) Accordingly, the Archbishop of Kingston has created various Councils and Commissions in the Archdiocese to assist him in caring for the people of God.  They are:

• Presbyterial Council

• Pastoral Council

• Financial Council

• Evangelization-Mission Commission

• Liturgical Commission

• Vocations Commission

• Family Life Commission
