A limited number of
scholarships are available for the B.A. Programme.
These scholarships cover tuition at St Michael’s only.
Students need to pay the portion applicable to the
University of the West Indies. The criteria for an
award are:
1.
Applicants must
be practising Roman Catholics.
2. Applicants must be
in need of financial assistance.
3. Applicants must
be a Theology major with most of their courses being
done at St Michael’s.
4. Applicants must
volunteer two hours of weekly service to St Michael’s
Community during the period of study.
5. Applicants must
commit themselves to teach in a Roman Catholic school or
serve in a Roman Catholic Church community or at an
institution affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.
6. Applicants must
maintain a B average.
The scholarship is
renewable yearly based on overall satisfactory
performance.
The deadline for
applications for scholarships is December 31 of
each year for the following academic year.
Applications must be accompanied by two
references one of which must be form the parish
priest or an educational institution.
